The Acciaio Lounge armchair is inspired by the classic steel racing bicycle. It is constructed from specialized, tapered iron bicycle tubes varnished in epoxy powder blue, red and butter and the result is strikingly strong and light. The seat and backrest is a perforated sandwich of natural, brown or black full grain leather, light, comfortable and slightly flexible. The name Acciaio comes from the Italian word for “steel”, a clear reference to the heritage of Italian steel used for bicycles. Steel Lounge is a precious product where high technology and craftsmanship are perfectly mixed.
